I’m a strong believer that “one more gun” just isn’t enough. It’s a philosophy I know many of you share.
I happen to know a pretty serious collector, not unlike some of the people reading this column I’m guessing. He has a room in his home devoted entirely to his hobby, with, well… hundreds of guns. Frankly, I’m not sure he even knows how many there are.
Call it self-control, or call it a smaller pocketbook, I’m simply not at that level. As such, most of my guns are purchased with a very specific utility in mind, namely that either I or my kids will use it for pheasants, ducks, deer, varmints, etc. Though I’ll freely admit, I’ve been tempted a time or two to hang on my wall some of this industry’s “fine art” creations. Maybe someday.
As you might imagine, the NASGW team has been super busy these past couple months, processing a bunch of new manufacturer memberships, working on exhibitor sales and preparing for a week that every gun enthusiast dreams about. In addition to multiple new manufacturers on the exhibit floor, we’ll also have a handful of new wholesalers and all their buyers. The show just keeps getting better.
Speaking of which, if you’ve not had a chance to stop by the NASGW website yet, I encourage you to do so soon to check out the complete AGENDA and other important details for the week. You can also find much of that information in this special EXPO Edition of InSights.
The NASGW Expo is closing in fast. See you in New Orleans!
Until next time,
