How long have you been a member of NASGW?
We have been an NASGW Member in excess of 35 years.
In what ways does your NASGW membership help your wholesale business?
Belonging to NASGW is a must for us to survive. Being a member allows us to meet with manufacturers on a one on one bases, together and under one roof. We also are able to get to know them outside of emails and phone calls. Members better understand who we are as well how we perform in our market.
What do you see as the biggest issue in 2016 for the shooting sports industry?
Political climate, gun control and mental health issues.
What advice would you give to a new manufacturer member of NASGW?
Talk with every member you can, along with other manufacturers. Look at what’s being done around you and strive to become a partner.
Why do you think wholesale distribution is the best method of product delivery for the shooting sports industry?
Today’s dealers are smarter than ever! They are looking for a partner they can trust and rely on our inventory to be accurate. We all have invested greatly in technology and have our inventory live 24/7. Those dealers whom stock merchandise heavily are able to keep their shelves filled. The smaller, more conservative dealers can sell from our inventory. With today’s delivery methods either next day air or two day air, they can receive merchandise faster and close more sales.
Anything new on the horizon for your business in 2016?
Our focus for 2016 at this time is finishing an addition to our warehouse, expanding our selection and increasing inventory levels.Back to Member News
